A mixed bag
I bought this tent about a month ago, and finally got to take it out over waitangi weekend. It is a relativly cheap, small, portable tent, there are some real upsides to it. I'm not sure you could get a "better" tent at this price point, or close, with the "true" ultralight tents coming it over a thousand dollars.
In the time since I've noticed that several points on the online store page have been changed.
Some pros I've noticed in the short period I've had this tent.
* It can be set up fly first, a rarity among tents at any price point, and incredably useful if you get caught out in the rain. I don't think this was listed on the website when I bought it. Testing this is the back yard I've managed to set this up fly first WITHOUT the ground sheet, but it is easier to do with the groundsheet.

* It can be set up very fast when done in it's intended order.
But there are some things you should be aware of:
* When I bought this tent the website listed it's packed weight as slightly over 1000grams. After weighting the tent at home I realized that this weight didn't account for the fly. The now listed weight of 1570 is much more accurate.
* Door stickyness. The zipper for the door appears to get stuck easily just above the turn, this appears to be down to just how the fabric sits.
* Ventilation. This tent is…
