The Peak XV Zephyr Down Jacket is built for the moments when the temperature drops but you still need to keep moving. Light enough to pack away easily, warm enough to rely on at a hut stop, exposed ridge, campsite or cold morning start, it is the ideal insulation layer for New Zealand conditions.
Filled with 800 fill power hydrophobic down, the Zephyr delivers excellent warmth for its weight without unnecessary bulk. It packs into the included stuff bag, making it easy to carry on tramps, day walks, travel days and shoulder-season adventures.
The men’s fit is designed for active use, with a streamlined shape that layers comfortably over a base layer or fleece, and easily under a waterproof shell when conditions turn properly rough. Elasticated cuffs help seal in warmth, while the soft brim hood adds extra protection when the wind picks up.
The lightweight ripstop outer has a DWR water-resistant coating to help shed light moisture and mist, giving you extra protection before you need to reach for a full waterproof shell.
