The desire to hunt further, harder and deeper into the backcountry and wilderness is what pushes the extreme. Months of preparation all come down to seconds of execution.
The Drover 80 is the bigger brother of the 40 and is large enough to carry all your supplies for week long expeditions and pursuits where a large array of gear, clothing and sleep attire is required. The ability to expand this pack out to its full capacity or remove the hood and cinch down to go ultralight make it highly adaptable.
I think the concept is awesome. Looking forward to using it. And hunting from camp just using the frame.
I was shown it out in the bush by a fellow hunter. He regularly packed out big loads of 40kg + using it.
I’m still yet to use it but it appears to be good quality.
Had my first proper test a couple weekends back on a solo mish, managed to haul back both back and front legs and backstraps from an average sized red hind all in one trip. The bag held the weight surprisingly well, when I got home I weighed it and it was 42kg, not bad I say! Didn't even need to clean anything afterwards either
