Light compact and not as noisy as my other ones
From bikepacking through mountain ranges to multi-day trail running, the award-winning Ultrasphere 4.5 offers peerless warmth for when you can’t compromise on weight.
We recommend using this for:
When both warmth and low weight are crucial, the award-winning Ultrasphere 4.5 is the ultimate packable, featherlight air mat. Its ground-breaking design includes two layers of heat-reflective TILT, which reduce radiant heat loss, and offset air chambers that trap heat within the construction, allowing you to recharge comfortably without the need for high-volume insulation. Combined with a soft, exceptionally lightweight fabric, the mat’s weight-saving construction makes it ideal for bikepacking, thru-hiking, and multi-day mountain running.
With a comfortable tapered mummy shape that eliminates unnecessary bulk, the mat is thick and supportive, so that you can catch vital rest and restore the energy reserves needed for your action-fuelled days on the trail. When it’s time to pitch for the night, the low-profile two-way valve and inflation sack make camp setup quick and easy.
Featuring an included repair kit and unrivalled warmth-to-weight ratio, the Ultrasphere 4.5 is honed for fast-paced exploring in demanding mountain conditions.

Hard to comprehend the size of this thing rolled up.
The pumpsacks ok... not as efficient as a S2S one. It's significantly quieter than a S2S ether light, and the surface fabric is comfy to sleep on.
First thing I did was ditch that weird elasticised cover - not sure what RAB designers were on. Just put the mattress inside the pump sack and roll it all up.... too easy.
At this point I am rating this mat highly.
I chose this one because it had a bit more support than the highly ribbed ones. I’m very happy with it and can tell it will last well with the quality. Rab always delivers on quality.
Mat is exactly what I was after. The service is even better. Quick delivery will be back thanks Dwright’s on
I am a hunter who has spent a lot of time in out in the wilderness sleeping in huts, bivies and tents. L know value of a good nights sleep. i have tried many different types of camping mattresses. A friend of mine has one of these mattresses and recommend to me. I have only used on one two week hunting trip so far and found it to be very comfortable. It is lightweight and packs down very small so is easy to carry. I would recommend this to anyone camping.
