Designed for hikers, alpine adventurers, bikepackers, and backcountry explorers, the Blaze -8 combines premium 850 Fill Power Allied Feather + HyperDRY™ Down, ultralight materials, and an efficient mummy shape to maximise warmth while minimising pack weight.

At just 860 grams, the Blaze -8 offers a -8°C Limit Rating and -2°C Comfort Rating, making it an ideal choice for shoulder-season adventures, alpine environments, and cold-weather camping throughout New Zealand and beyond.

Premium 850 Fill Power HyperDRY™ Down

The Blaze -8 is insulated with premium 850 Fill Power Allied Feather + HyperDRY™ Down, delivering exceptional loft, warmth, compressibility, and long-term performance. The HyperDRY™ treatment helps maintain insulation performance in damp conditions, providing greater reliability when the weather turns.

Every sleeping bag includes an Allied Feather QR Code, allowing you to trace the origin and quality of the down used in your bag for complete transparency and confidence in your gear.

To maximise the lifespan and performance of the premium down insulation, every Peak XV Blaze sleeping bag includes both a lightweight compression stuff sack for compact packing on the trail and a breathable mesh storage bag for long-term storage at home. Proper storage helps maintain loft and ensures your sleeping bag continues performing trip after trip.

Built for Serious Adventures

Constructed from ultralight 10D Nylon shell and lining fabrics, the Blaze -8 keeps unnecessary weight to a minimum while maintaining excellent comfort and packability. The DWR treatment helps repel condensation and light moisture, while the fully insulated hood and full-length zipper provide adaptable comfort across a wide range of conditions.

Whether you're sleeping under the stars in the high country or tackling multi-day wilderness adventures, the Blaze -8 is built to keep you warm without slowing you down.
