The Bungle sleeping bag is the all-rounders’ choice for cold-weather adventures, balancing exceptional warmth, light weight and loads of features.
ONE PLANET® Storm foot technology gives a waterproof, windproof, breathable foot-box for warmer feet, maximum loft and better performance. It’s filled with non PFC hydrophobic down, and the vertical baffle system, neck baffle and twin draft tubes keep warmth where you need it. The tapered rectangular shape gives space to move, while the separate foot zip means you can open it fully. The shell is made from durable, water-repellent and highly breathable 10 D Vapour Vent V2 fabric, and there’s a full-length YKK #5 zip with anti-snag locking slider. Awesome.

Temp Ratings
One Planet sleeping bags are rated using the international standard for sleeping bag performance, ISO 23537-1. (This is a revised version of European Standard EN 13537.) This means every sleeping bag has two ‘real world’ and one extreme rating. To determine what temperature might be most suitable for you see our technical pages.
Ethically sourced down
Our down is ethically sourced, harvested and cleaned before purchase, with both the down and our supplier passing independent International Down and Feather Laboratory (IDFL) audits relating to ethical traceability. This means that the white down and feathers we purchase are from animals that haven’t been live plucked or force-fed at any point during the supply chain.

For personal reasons, I missed the summer tramping season this year. However, an opportunity presented itself in late June and I was off from Tauranga. However, I knew my sleeping bag (a so-called -5) wasn't up to the job. I had done a lot of on-line research and the One Planet wide range of bags stood out. The Bungle versions, which the Aussie producer most recommended to me relative to my stated needs, were held by Dwights in Upper Hut so I booked my Interislander crossing to Picton to coincide with a visit to their shop on a Saturday morning.
I'm so glad I did. My tramping profile is something like 'Southern Alps, below the snow line, but includes tenting out'. Two weeks on the West Coast (Paparoa GW plus the OGR) was a reasonably good test of the new bag and it really did deliver on warmth, pack-down size, and weight. I had wondered about the -15, but tramping gear on multiday tramps has to be just right, and not under or over. Now, I'm looking for a good coat - that fulfils my three criteria of effectiveness, lighter rather than heavier, and small pack-down size - and one that doesn't seep when sodden like my present one does.
Let it fluff up to be warmer.
I am usually a cold sleeper and while I'm not sure how I would go in the minus temperature it was fantastic camping. Didn't even need socks.. lightweight and warm... But bigger than I thought, but I'm sure you can make it super small for tramping.. happy as with purchase.
Toasties warm inside tents. Ice on tent outside. Sleeping bag did a great job.
