The Rapace GTX is a lightweight mountaineering boot that teams a hard-wearing nubuck and fabric upper with waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® protection.

Secure grip meets comfort and support – SALEWA’s solution for via ferratas and mountaineering. The Rapace GTX features the 3F System for ankle support, flexibility and a precise fit, plus improved rear ankle mobility thanks to the patented Flex Collar. Its Vibram WTC outsole has an aggressive tread pattern for traction and secure grip on rock, coupled with a Bilight TPU midsole for long-lasting cushioning.

Inside the boot, SALEWA’s Bilight technology provides an ergonomic hold and extended comfort. The Rapace GTX is stiff enough for use with semi-automatic crampons. GORE-TEX® Performance Comfort lining provides weather protection and climate comfort, while a full rubber rand protects against rock and scree.
