Haven't try this but build quality is fine
Lightweight, stretchy, wind blocking layer -more breathable than my hard shell but still cuts wind chill fairly effectively
It's light weight and a bit stretchy. I like it
It's the Goldilocks problem - sometimes, it isn't too cold and it isn't too hot either. A fleece is too much, and a base layer isn't enough. I reckon that's the magic gap for the Borealis.
I chuck it in my bag for basically every adventure - rock climbing, alpine trips, day hikes, surf mission. Great wind resistance, not really waterproof. Perfect in a southerly in Wellington or when that colder wind whips up in the mountains. 10/10
