Need a lightweight down gilet for multi-activity insulation? With recycled down and body-mapped baffles, our Microlight Vest delivers core warmth without restricted movement or wasted weight.

Our classic Microlight Vest has been upgraded. In addition to a fresh, active-cut aesthetic, the use of zoned micro and nano baffle stitch-through construction ensures a more intelligent distribution of down, eliminating cold spots and delivering warmth exactly where it’s needed. Built exclusively from recycled fabrics, it uses 700FP P.U.R.E recycled down, alongside a 30D Pertex® Quantum ripstop nylon outer with a weather-resistant DWR coating. Practical mountain features include easy-stretch elasticated armholes, harness-friendly zipped pockets, a drawcord adjustable hem and a close-fitting collar. With a weight of just 317g for the easiest possible carry.

Whether you want casual everyday warmth or a flexible mountain mid-layer, the new Microlight Vest is down insulation at its most accessible.

Fantastic

Bought for husband. This vest is perfect. It is neat, well made, warm, functional. It is true to size I bought the large and I am between a large and XL normally so went down to get a closer fit.

Rab Down vest

Most versatile piece of clothing you will ever buy. To wear in winter and summer. Light and flexible.

This is my second Rab vest. I had the first one for

More than 10 years and it is still fully functional and wearable.

Outside breast pocket super practical for important items easy to reach.

Men’s Rab Microlight Vest

The Rab vest is an excellent casual piece of clothing in cooler weather and also is perfect as a layer option under a waterproof jacket to keep the torso cosy. A well made item of clothing that I would highly recommend. Delivery from Dwights to my home in Adelaide was super quick.
