Poles work great
Took the poles on a 4 hour walk and was surprised at how much better I went; faster and easier. First time I have use walking poles and being 77 years old my balance is not what it used to be. I felt much more confident walking on very uneven ground, over tree roots and downhill. I am tall so had the poles out to almost max length and did notice quick a bit of flex. perhaps the aluminum poles would be better for me.
